The “Full Season or Not” Mystery Solved! [Exclusive]

Hi, fellow “LA Complex” fans!
As you all know, there has been a lot of confusion about the seasons of The LA Complex. Some say it’s a mid-season break, some say the first 6 episodes are the full season. Well, we solved the mystery.
I contacted Executive Producer, Stephen Stohn, asking him to clarify this confusion once and for all and this was his response:
“Really all 19 episodes are one season… But shot over two years!”
And there you have it. The 6 episodes already aired in Canada (and will premiere on The CW on April 24th) plus the 13 ordered recently by Bell Media constitute the first season of The LA Complex.
Looking forward to see how this season will unfold.

It’s been a big day for us and The L.A. Complex! After heading out to the Warner Brothers lot in Los Angeles to interview a few of the stars for the series’ first season run on The CW (premiering April 24th), we returned to learn (per Deadline) that another one of our faves has joined the cast, to appear in the next batch of episodes. Krista Allen will be coming in as “Jennifer Blake, an A-list movie star.”
Though there is no word yet on if or when The L.A. Complex’ next thirteen episodes will air in the US (it will be dependent on how well the first six do for The CW, so make sure you tune in!), the Canadian drama is already a fan favorite in the great white north and with critics and bloggers like us who have seen advance copies here.

The “Growing Pains” patriarch will board the Canadian soap for four episodes.
TORONTO – A group of wannabe stars chasing Hollywood dreams are getting some fitting company on the Canadian soap The L.A. Complex for The CW and MuchMusic north of the border.
Former Growing Pains patriarch Alan Thicke has booked a recurring role on the series from Epitome Pictures.
Thicke boarding The L.A. Complex follows the series receiving a 13-episode order from Canadian broadcaster Bell Media, after an initial six-episode debut, with production to start shortly in Toronto and Los Angeles.
